Nationally a northern and western species but in our region a rare and declining resident in northern areas.A species of broadleaved woodland, particularly in upland and moorland areas.Overwinters as an adult. Is attracted to sallow catkins in spring and Ivy in the autumn. Is attracted to light.Note Could be mistaken for the green form of the Red-green Carpet.
